In addition, those departments who use our web services in the College will no longer need to pay an annual maintenance fee. In 1999, the departments of History, Political Science and Sociology were one of the first in the College to hire a lone, computer support person in response to the growing need for on-site computer assistance.

OASIS "Sandbox" Training Room - Howell 05

OASIS is proud to announce the immediate availability of "The Sandbox" Training Space in Howell 05. The "Sandbox" is a training room dedicated to raising the collective technical skill level of the faculty and staff across the college through group and individual training and workshops. It is outfitted with 12 computers with both Windows and Mac operating systems on them, as well as a fantastic whiteboard and projector.

Blackboard Upgrade/Outage Information

Blackboard will undergo a key upgrade this summer resulting in a major planned outage from July 28 through August 6. This upgrade will optimize Blackboard’s performance, increase its stability and incorporate the addition of new features to enhance learning and instruction.
