Apply for Service
This program is designed to assist faculty, staff and graduate students involved in developing, implementing, and evaluating projects, particularly those projects that suggest the potential for broad programmatic application, and exemplify a commitment to innovative, thoughtful and sustainable activities.
Overview
This service is provided at no cost, though selection is competitive in nature and is driven by available resources therefore OASIS may only select a few applicants at any given time. College faculty, staff and graduate students are invited to submit applications. OASIS encourages proposals that improve upon any existing (or call for the creation of new) services, systems and tools whether pedagogical or administrative in their nature. Note that these requests are limited to faculty, staff and graduate students in the College of Arts and Sciences.
Priority is generally given to applications that show strength in the areas noted below.
Selection Process
A review committee of OASIS staff will advise on the selection of proposals that:
- demonstrate the significance of the project's contribution to enhancing services OASIS can provide to the College
- clearly defined and benefits are measurable (in terms of improving efficiency, retention, impacting the user experience)
- strong commitment from the applicant to be an active and flexible participant in the development of the project
- have a positive cost/benefit ratio
