Departmental Administration Group
Overview of Responsibilities
- Collaborate with other IT departments on campus to maintain and improve technology solutions in the College of Arts & Sciences
- Coordinate service agreements and external billings for other services on campus
- Direct and develop departmental administrative daily operations and procedures
- Facilitate Carolina Computer Initiative (CCI) program for supported departments
- Manage human resources for OASIS
- Maintain inventory control for department
- Oversee accounting services for OASIS
- Provide purchasing services for OASIS
- Provide administrative support to OASIS Director
What services does the group provide?
The group helps generate, distribute, and process service agreements for all services provided by OASIS. This includes a streamlined and automated billing process with the aim to decrease administrative effort through a one-step process for all departments on campus.
The group contacts departments in the College in order to schedule CCI meetings based on the schedule.
The group will act as a consultant providing guidance internally on Human Resources and any policy or procedural issue related to OASIS. The group will also act as the administrative component of the department, which includes interactions with other departments in the College and in the larger University community.

Nonpersonnel
- The NonPersonnel Funding Request System allows College of Arts and Sciences Departments to submit funding requests to the Dean's Office for non-personnel expenses.

Surplus Program
- OASIS provides a College-wide surplus program for computers and laptops.
