Online Security

As we continue to work and teach remotely, it is vital to review and remember to use security measures when dealing with important information online. If you have not already, take a moment to look over the settings for your Zoom account, ensure that you are using the campus VPN to access files from home, and check that your device is updated and has anti-malware (“anti-virus”) software and a firewall installed.

Make sure that your computer and your onyen are protected with strong passwords. Be wary of phishing emails from a source that you do not know or that are asking for sensitive information. Legitimate campus emails will never ask for you to email this information to them.
