Faculty and staff members are required to be listed in the campus directory.  Students may keep their information private, or choose to share directory material.






An alias is an email address that can be created under ONYEN services. Think of it as a nickname or personalized handle that can be used for email, rather than being regulated to only using your standard








Search & LDAP

Information that is saved in the directory can be searched and accessed within Outlook (when logged into the domain or web mail).








All university students, faculty and staff must have a university email address listed in the UNC public directory.  Most staff and faculty must have their office and locations listed as well. The UNC directory is found at:
