Enterprise Solutions and Custom Application Development

We support innovative new software solutions to various problems. In addition to developing new software, we also work on projects that integrate with existing commercial products to extend their functionality and require Department of Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DOD FAR) considerations. Institutional Review Board (IRB) Security and Training

Along with security consultations, OASIS provides IRB Training for Data Security ,which is a mandatory step for securing research-related support for human subjects research within the College of Arts and Sciences at UNC Chapel Hill. This brief training will help you understand the most important data security needs for your research in order to best protect the privacy of your participants and the fidelity of your research.

Consultations, Design and Working Groups

Pre-IRB Consultations: We know how cumbersome IRB modifications can be when the data security requirements of a research project impact your study design. We’re available for data security consultations at any point in your desired research, and a meeting with us before you submit your IRB can save you valuable time by avoiding unnecessary IRB re-submissions and modifications. Instructional Support: Our services extend beyond traditional tech support, and we are eager to help with research activities such as Learning Community design and facilitation; student and faculty surveys such as mid-semester engagement surveys; course design and redesign; implementing new technologies into the curriculum. Research Technology Consultations and Purchases

OASIS Systems Groups is here to help with research data requests, server and storage allocation and grant-purchases, including, but not limited to: computers, servers, Graphics Processing Units (GPUs), imaging systems, networking, switches, Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) components, data storage, programmable logic devices (PLDs, FPGAs).
