The OASIS Systems group supports the instructional mission of the College of Arts and Sciences by providing technical solutions in three main categories: Virtualization, Research Computing, and Secure Data Storage. Our virtualized computing platform hosts more than 150 servers in an environment that is more efficient, flexible, and reliable than traditional physical solutions. Additionally, the Systems Team offers in-house solutions for users who require secure or high performance storage, as well as consultation and support services to assist with campus or custom storage solutions. The OASIS Systems Team offers monitoring, maintenance, and administration services for systems hosted both on site and within our data centers, ranging from Windows and Linux platforms, to custom and legacy systems with unique needs.

Working closely with the OASIS Applications, Instructional, and Desktop Support groups, as well as with our peers in ITS and departmental IT teams, the Systems Team has a deep and multifaceted engagement with clients and colleagues throughout the campus community. We are able to provide advanced desktop support services, and to facilitate inter-departmental and inter-discipline collaboration, migrations, and support.
